Last weekend I found my One Ring replica.
Now, I’ve added to the list of things I must do in my life this:
Go to the top of a volcano and throw the One Ring in.
Iceland seems like a nice place to go these days. With Eyjafjallajokull and Katla being candidates. But as I will go to Japan one day, Mount Unzen sounds good too. :D
It’s 1 in the morning. Two exams today.
And I’m all like whatever. Thinking how it would be better if I studied more physics and now I could be studying experimental and theoretical physics and hoping to break the speed of light barrier and make an ftl drive.
Like a Boss.
But I can’t really complain about my life now. Photography makes me equally happy as would being a physicist.
I just need to focus more on my college. Heh. But, oh well, it is interesting and fun.
So, yeah, this is not a rant how I have made a wrong choice in life. I am totally satisfied. Not that I can’t fantasize. :)
Even though it has it’s downsides I find Political Studies to be an excellent program which drives my life in a very good direction. I like how it focuses me to become a smarter individual that one day will be capable of making decisions that maybe could change the courses of entire companies or even countries ( but I don’t aspire to be a politician after I finish college, I’d like to find a good masters that could bind together political sciences and photojournalism )
If anyone wonders, Political Sciences is all about learning how to do this:
Rationally solving collective problems.
So I’m taking my girlfriend with me when I go back to my hometown for a few days and I really hope she will like it ( I know you stalk my tumblr Zrinka, so get your own already so I can have one more follower :D ).
Also my D’n’D addiction isn’t doing well and withdrawal is kicking in. I need my fix. I haven’t played a good session in the last 3 months… And this college thing I go to does not help at all.
On a lighter note, I will be getting a new tattoo soon, so if anyone is willing to state his opinion about this problem, please do:
I want to get something Totoro related and my first idea was to get the Studio Ghibli logo ( just small and big Totoro and just the outline ) after watching Toy Story 3 again I had another idea ( to tattoo the whole big totoro but smiling and in color ).
(the tattoo will be on my leg)
Photos of Studio Ghibli logo and smiling Totoro:
Which idea do you think would be better?
Danas sam sam slusao Hladno Pivo dok sam si radio juhu i otkrio sam nesto zanimljivo. Na svom prvom albumu HP ( Dzinovski ) svira pjesmu Pjevajte nesto ljubavno.
I bas mi je super kako su vec na prvom albumu HP predvidili svoju buducnost tom pjesmom.
Hladnom Pivu predlazem povratak korijenima.
—-English translation and explanation—-
Hladno Pivo is a very well known Croatian then punk/now rock band that sold itself to a major record label here and in that process they totally changed their sound to rock.
The freely translated text:
Today, while I was making soup I found out something interesting. On Hladno Pivo’s first album ( called Dzinovski ) there is a song called “Pjevajte nesto ljubavno” ( “Sing something about love” which is a song where they joke about bands that sell themselves out and sing song that little girls would like ).
I find it great that Hladno Pivo predicted it’s own future with such a song.
I recommend Hladno Pivo a trip back to it’s roots.
Yesterday, Croatia’s President, whom I thought of as a great man, talked in support of ACTA.
So, yeah, Ivo, here’s a Douglas Adams quote for you:
"To summarize: it is a well known fact that those people who most want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it. To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job. To summarize the summary of the summary: people are a problem."
There. Now think about what you said some more.
So as my studying is probably not progressing good I think I should start a career in organized crime.
Dealing cheap lego sets seems like a good idea. Because they are way overpriced here. Lego is expensive everywhere but in Croatia it’s outrageous.
Lego black market here I come.
As some wise men (or a woman) once said:
"I solemnly swear I’m up to no good!"
*Rant mode: ON*
I hate studying. Like a lot. I know this may be bullshit but I just can’t stand reading crap about the political system of Croatia. Hope I pass the exam tomorrow.
*Rant mode: OFF*
Thank you for listening. Reading. Or whatever.
EXTRA RANT: I want more Lego sets in my life. Just yesterday I saw the Millenium Falcon in a shop. It’s AWESOME. Want. So bad. But it’s to expensive.
Oh well, I can satisfy myself with just a few minifigures.
Also, I have a question for you few followers of mine.
Do you think I should make a separate tumblr for my photography instead of having it mixed with all the other reblogs and posts?
